When Penelope shoots her husband, rather than calling the police or an ambulance, she calls her neighbours in the hope they will understand, but then can’t bring herself to tell what she’s done. What follows is a comic collection of misunderstandings and verbal manipulation as she slowly steers her neighbours to the truth and an unexpected conclusion.
